What it DOES have is a small icon of a lightning bolt on the bottom of the haft. This Mace does not have sharp spikes protruding from it, but does have many pairs of short iron nubs protruding from the business end of the weapon.
This strange horseman's mace has some unique properties. In addition to giving bonuses to hit one's enemies, and doing extra damage, it seems that occasionally it discharges electrical energy on really solid hits.
There may be additional qualities as yet undetermined. The Mace acts as a +2 weapon for "to hit" and damage, plus the special damage.
